Anti Rape Condom

The concept of the anti-rape condom is to have a female condom fitted with barbed hooks that attach to a male's penis during penetration. The first of these was invented by Dr. Sonnet Ehlers, a South African doctor who was treating many rape victims. She named the condom the Rape-aXe.

The anti rape condom works like this. Once the penis is inserted into the anti rape condom, the barbs latch onto the penis as it's withdrawn. The barbs cause the attacker much pain (to the point where he shouldn't be able to urinate or walk) and give the victim time to escape. Pulling at the anti rape condom will only secure it more to the rapist and the only way it can be removed is by a doctor.

Since the rapist must go to the hospital to have the anti rape condom removed, the inventor says the authorities should have a much better chance of identifying and arresting the rapist.
